Simioni: Muse, Queen, and Entrepreneurial Powerhouse
Simioni solidifies her status as a Carnival muse and Drum Section Queen (Rainha de Bateria), while serving as a business benchmark both inside and outside the festivities.
In her second consecutive year as a Carnival muse—and her first as a Drum Section Queen—Simioni is navigating a phase of intense dedication and personal/professional consolidation. While her debut preparation lasted just over 30 days, this year she invested a full twelve months in training, discipline, and study. She did so twofold: parading for two different samba schools.
This preparation demanded physical endurance and emotional balance. It involved months of constant rehearsals, rigorous workouts, quick trips, and a routine defined by very few hours of rest. Added to this was the responsibility of being a Queen—a figure that represents not just a stage presence, but leadership and commitment to the community.
According to Simioni, the expectations rise considerably when assuming this role. The pressure is higher, and the level of commitment must be absolute. However, she affirms that every sacrifice becomes meaningful the moment she steps onto the Avenida.

The Power of the Parade and the Community
It is there that fatigue fades into the background. The crowd’s emotion, the energy of the drum section, and the collective strength transform months of effort into a unique experience. The connection with the community and the grandeur of the spectacle become the true engine driving her performance.
The entrepreneur also highlights the warm welcome she received from both schools. Supported by the boards, the presidencies, and especially the community, she ensures this support strengthens her commitment and reaffirms her dedication during every parade.
